The nursery is open from 7.15am - 6.15pm, Monday to Friday throughout the year except public & bank holidays.

Full Time 7.15am - 6.15pm

Children however can be dropped-off in between to suit your needs.

Mornings 8.00am - 1.00pm

It may be possible to extend these hours by arrangement with the manager.

Afternoons 1.00pm - 6.00pm

It may be possible to extend these hours by arrangement with the manager.

Hourly rates of £14.00 per hour if parents wish to book extra hours.

An administration fee of £55.00 is required upon registration.

Consumables

Consumables such as nappies, wipes and creams etc. are included in the fees.

Meals and Snacks

A hot two-course lunch is provided at midday, also a drink and light snack mid-morning with tea in the afternoon.

Early Years Entitlement

The early years entitlement can be obtained for eligible parents, for more details please refer to our nursery information booklet within our prospectus pack.

Holidays and Illness

The nursery will be closed bank holidays and approximately 1 week at Christmas there is no charge for the Christmas week. Details of closure dates will be given in the nursery newsletters.

Payment must be made for absence.

Sibling Rate

10% discount is given on older sibling fees.

Payment of Fees

All fees must be paid one month in advance. The fees are based on 51 weeks a year divided into 12 set monthly payments. One month's notice is required in writing if a place is no longer required.

Early Years Entitlement England

From September 2025 in England, all eligible parents of children aged 9 months and older were able to access 30 hours per week for 38 weeks a year of funding.

This equates to a total of 1,140 funded hours per year under the Early Years Entitlement. As the nursery is open 51 weeks per year, these hours are stretched across the full year. This means a maximum of 22.35 funded hours per week, or 11.18 hours per week if you are claiming the universal (3&4Yrs old) entitlement of 570 hours.

From April, the nursery's hourly funding rate will be £7.18 per hour (based on the daily rate of £79.00 divided by 11 hours). The funded hours we receive from the government will be deducted from your invoice. Any additional hours or days attended beyond the funded entitlement will be charged at our standard rates.

If your child attends nursery for full days, the funded hours will be applied across one or two of those days. A maximum of 10 funded hours per day (as set by the council) will be deducted from your invoice.

Any remaining funded entitlement will then be used against additional private hours your child attends during the rest of the week. If your child does not attend on any further days, any unused funded hours cannot be applied or carried over at Jigsaw.
